ISAR-Germany
I.S.A.R. Germany is an alliance of experts in rescue and relief operations, predominantly from professional and volunteer fire departments, the German Search and Rescue Dog Association, medical doctors, as well as ICU and surgical nurses, immediately deploying following: pandemics (Ebola, COVID-19) and humanitarian crisis, earthquakes, floods, land slides, hurricanes, cyclones, typhoons, building collapses, search for missing individuals. ISAR Germany is classified as a United Nations INSARAG (International Search and Rescue Advisory Group) Medium Urban Search and Rescue Team (USAR) since 2007 and classified as an EMT Type 1 by the WHO since 2018. One main aim of ISAR is the international help after natural disasters and humanitarian crisis/ pandemics. Part of the rescue missions is the search and rescue of missing people with search and rescue dogs as well as latest rescue technologies. The SAR Team is next to the medical team the core competence of ISAR Germany.
